Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend and so is this exfoliating scrub.

The Diamond Dust isn't actually diamonds, BUT... it IS ruby's and sapphires! These are the EXACT same microdermabrasion crystals used at your doctors office or med-spa when you go in for a microdermabrasion. These minerals are the second hardest minerals on Earth (a 9 on the Mohs scale), with diamonds being the first. Their scientific/generic name is corundum and are unaffected by acidic environments, allowing us to add (should we so choose) beneficial acids to customize this facial scrub for various client needs.

How to use: After cleansing, pour about a dime size in the palm of your hand and add a few drops of water to create a 'paste'. Apply paste to face/neck/chest and massage in circular motion, concentrating on areas of concern (fine lines, hyperpigmentation, scars, sun damage, etc). Rinse thoroughly with water.

Our girls with sensitive skin... please BE CAREFUL, this is a very abrasive scrub but a very effective one at that. This scrub is the consistency of sand, if you don't use water, it will fall through your fingers, just like sand. Scrub to your hearts content but don't make yourself chapped/raw... remember, you're about to put your Vitamin C serum on and it's an ACID. Don't let this scare you, but do expect a little more of a sting/itch from your Face Candy Vitamin C (FCVC) after using the scrub, it'll only last a few minutes, your skin will adapt to it over time and you won't feel that sensation anymore. Our oily, thick-skin girls can use the scrub once a day (at night) and our normal/dry girls can use 2-3 times a week (at night, as well).

On another note, skin care products that have "real diamonds" or any other precious stone (powdered) in the product and are advertising anti-aging capabilities other than physically exfoliating the skin... are full of crap. The only benefit a stone/crystal can bring to the skin is it's ability to scrub off dead surface cells OR act as a light reflectant (shimmer). Putting diamonds or "charged crystals" in your skin care product is a GIMMICK and only going to drive up the price of the product.
